Golden Vale Research, a SOILCRATES pilot project, recently hosted an open day in Clerihan, Co. Tipperary, which brought farmers, researchers and industry partners together to see first-hand how soil treatments can boost pasture and tillage performance. Attendees also got a look at heritage grain trials and heard how these traditional varieties could support shorter, more resilient supply chains for Irish grain growers.
