We’re excited to announce that SOILCRATES-Ireland will be at the County Clare Agricultural Show this 12th July, alongside our partner project SCEENE.
We will be showcasing two complementary projects working towards healthier soils and more sustainable farming in Ireland.
SCEENE is a 4½-year project based in the Loop Head Peninsula in West Clare, pioneering a circular, community-led approach to farming. Through biochar production from local organic waste and the use of mycorrhizal fungi, SCEENE works to improve soil health, reduce nutrient runoff, and enhance carbon sequestration in agricultural soils, turning farm waste into a valuable resource.
At our stand you can expect:

- Leaflets and information on both projects
- A chance to chat with the teams about getting involved
