A SOILCRATES Ireland Co-Creation session was held on Cloughjordan Community Farm in Co. Tipperary. Participants were provided an overview of latest developments within the project, with a specific emphasis on proposed timelines for the FSTP (soil health grant call). Sarah Davidson (Cloughjordan Community Farm) delivered a short presentation on the soil health practices which could be implemented by farmers as part of the SOILCRATES projects. Afterwards, participants were sub-divided into groups for a general discussion on soil health enhancement practices and specifically, those which could be implemented on their farms. This discussion allowed farmers to also share their past experiences of caring for the soil.
The next SOILCRATES co-creation session in Co. Tipperary will be held in September 2025.
